About Us

Scott Elliott, DVM

Dr. Elliott graduated from Marion County High School and then attended the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga (UTC) where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business. Following graduation at UTC, Dr. Elliott continued his education at Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine where he received his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine degree. Dr. Elliott also proudly served his country, and is a veteran of the United States Army.

Before opening Mud Creek Veterinary Services in 2008, Dr. Elliott worked for two and a half years in Northeast, Alabama. Mud Creek Veterinary Services began as a large animal ambulatory service which then expanded to include an office for a small animal practice in 2012.

Dr. Elliott’s special interests in veterinary medicine include Bovine herd health as well as artificial insemination for both cattle and horses. He is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the Society of Theriogenology.

Dr. Elliott has four children including Courtney, Nicholas, Lyndi, and Logan. His pet family consists of a dog named Chief, and a cat named Sister.
