Mud Creek Veterinary Services is a mixed animal veterinary practice that serves the needs of small animal pet owners as well as large animal and livestock owners in Hollywood, Alabama and the surrounding communities in Northeast Alabama and Southeast Tennessee. A unique feature that sets this clinic apart from others is that we provide ambulatory and haul-in services for large animals, as well as comprehensive healthcare services for them. In addition to large animals, we also accommodate small companion pets with our complete healthcare solutions.
Our versatile facility at Mud Creek Veterinary Services supports both large and small animals with treatment options such as dental care, digital radiography, emergency services, heartworm testing, hospice/euthanasia, in-clinic diagnostics, intensive care, microchipping, nutritional counseling, pain management, reproductive services, surgery, ultrasound, wellness visits, and more.
Dr. Scott Elliott and our friendly, caring staff are committed to providing high quality comprehensive and compassionate veterinary care for all pets in the rural communities of Jackson and Dekalb counties, no matter their size. We focus on client education to ensure that you have all the knowledge you need to keep your pet happy and healthy for years to come. When necessary, Dr. Elliott will make farm visits for large animals by appointment only.

Dr. Elliott has been practicing veterinary medicine in Northeast Alabama since 2006. His specialty is Bovine herd health as well as artificial insemination for both cattle and horses. He established Mud Creek Services in 2008 as an ambulatory service for large animals. In 2012, Dr. Elliott opened the facility in Stevenson to provide care for small animals as well.
At the end of 2020 Mud Creek Veterinary Services moved into a brand new state-of-the-art facility in Hollywood, Alabama.
