Scarlett Tate, DVM
Dr. Tate earned a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville in 2020 and her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Lincoln Memorial University in 2025. Her position at Mud Creek Veterinary Services is her first job as a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. She previously worked as a veterinary assistant throughout high school and her years as an undergraduate prior to entering vet school.
Dr. Tate has a special interest in small animal surgery, dentistry, geriatric care, and large animal ambulatory medicine.
She has two miniature dachshunds named Bo and Birdie. A fun fact about Dr. Tate is that she is a huge Tennessee sports fan—Go Vols!
